Name of Fund: ABN Amro Fixed Term Plan -Series 12

Scheme: It is a close-ended income scheme, which will have 3 plans. Each plan would comprise of securities normally maturing in line with the scheme. The scheme will have following plans namely: ABN Amro Fixed Term Plan -Series 12-Plan A, ABN Amro Fixed Term Plan -Series 12-Plan B and ABN Amro Fixed Term Plan -Series 12-Plan C.

Objective: The Investment objective of the Plans under the Scheme would be to achieve growth of capital through investments made in a basket of fixed income securities in line with the duration of Plans under the Scheme.

Plans: The scheme will have regular plan and institutional plan with a common portfolio.

Investment option: The investors will have the choice of two options viz. Dividend Option and Growth Option

Dividend Option (Calendar Monthly, Calendar Quarterly, Calendar Half Yearly, Calendar Yearly, and Dividend on Maturity Option) offers Dividend Payout and Dividend Re-investment Facilities. Both the Options will be managed with a common portfolio.

Asset Allocation: The fund will invest 100% in debt securities and money market instruments. Debt securities may include securitised debt up to 60% of the net assets. Investments in derivatives instruments shall be to a maximum permissible under Sebi regulations i.e 100%. The Scheme shall limit its exposure to investment in Foreign Debt Securities upto a maximum of 10% of its net assets.

Face Value: Rs 10

Entry Load: It will not charge an entry load.

Exit Load: 2% if investor redeems before the date of maturity. No exit load will be charged on bonus units/ dividend re-investment units.

Application Amount: Minimum investment under regular plan is Rs 25,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter. Under institutional plan, the minimum investment amount is Rs 25 lakh in multiples of Re 1 thereafter. There is no upper limit.

Target Amount: During the New fund offer period, the Fund seeks to collect Rs. 1 crore as the minimum subscription for the above-mentioned plan and will retain any excess subscription collected.

Benchmark Index: Crisil Short Term Bond Fund Index.
